Noosa and friends
After leaving the strawberry farm feeling defeated and seriously questioning wether this trip was to continue we decided to go visit a mate of mine who lived close by. And by mate I mean best mate and future bestman. Jarryd and I had not seen each other since he left our home town to live in Noosa with his brother and sister in law, so needless to say we celebrated with a bbq and a few beers for old times sake. Dylan and Yvonne (jarryds family) are both chefs and after hearing our story asked if we had experience working in kitchen as they needed kitchen hands at Rickies river bar.
Dylan at a beach walking distance from our new home.
Yvonne and I took an adventure too gorgeous buderim falls, the light was too incredible.
I had never had experience in a kitchen but Elke is a qualified chef, so we arranged a meeting with the head chef thanks to Yvonne. Once Elke told them she was chef they offered her a trial as a chef and asked if I was interested in being a kitchen hand. Nervously I agreed and had a trial later that day, we were in Noosa for 2 days and both found jobs with a place to stay in a gorgeous part of Australia. Life was starting too look up.
