Welcome my name is Daniel and I am a nomadic photographer travelling Australia with my beautiful fiancé Elke. Growing up riding BMX I was around cameras and photography quiet a bit, but often from the other side of the lens. I learned a bit from friends and eventually got my own camera to shoot BMX images of myself and friends.

It was not until 2017 that I started shooting outside of BMX, Some of the BMX riders I had met over the years had started shooting Landscape photography. BMX posts turned to beautiful images of waterfalls, mountains and the ocean. This inspired me. I started venturing out and shooting landscape images myself, it was not long and I was hooked. Money that was once being used on bike parts were know being spent on camera gear.

After shooting for roughly a year travel was starting to look more and more appealing. Elke and I had not really shown a whole lot of interest in travel, but after working the same job for almost 10 years I was in need of a change. Elke was feeling the same way. I remember after a bad day at work coming home and jokingly asking if we could just pack our stuff and go camping forever. It started as a joke but it got me thinking. I mentioned it a few times to Elke but it was big and scary so we were both a very hesitant to commit to such a big decision. After months of thinking about it become an easier decision and we decided to bite the bullet. We quit our jobs and packed our things away to live in a tent indefinitely. Our friends and family for the most part were very supportive and excited for us but people questioned how long we could do this. As I write this it has been roughly 18 months since we left, and I think we have a good year or 2 left in us.
